Apple está desarrollando un dispositivo de control de volumen para sus iPods que calcularía automáticamente durante cuanto tiempo y a que volumen a estado escuchando una persona, antes de reducir gradualmente el nivel de sonido, todo en un esfuerzo por proteger la audición de los usuarios, según el Daily Mail ubicado en Londres.
Citando una nueva solicitud de patente, el informe, que Apple rehusó comentar, dice que el “dispositivo también calculará la cantidad de ‘tiempo en silencio’ entre cuando el iPod es apagado y cuando se vuelve a encender, permitiendo aumentar el volumen otra vez a un nivel seguro”.
