As of September 25, 2016, iTunes S.à r.l. will complete its merger with Apple Distribution International in Cork, Ireland and will relocate its business from Luxembourg to Cork in early 2017.

Apple has been operating in Ireland since 1980 and now employs nearly 6,000 people. As we continue to expand our operations in Cork, we are moving our iTunes business there and will support content stores for more than 100 countries from our campus at Hollyhill.

Please review the following details and take the appropriate actions.

Contracts

All rights and obligations under your contracts with iTunes S.à r.l. will be transferred automatically by operation of law to Apple Distribution International. Your contracts will continue to be binding on Apple Distribution International without the need for any change. Apple Distribution International will honour any due payment from iTunes S.à r.l..

Taxes

We do not expect to have to deduct or withhold taxes from the payments we make to you. However, applicable laws are always subject to change.

VAT

There will be no change to the VAT rates that we charge when we sell your content. From September 25, 2016 to February 4, 2017, the new VAT ID of Apple Distribution International, Luxembourg Branch, will be LU25094756. Starting February 5, 2017, the VAT ID of Apple Distribution International in Ireland will be IE9700053D. We will send a reminder in early 2017.

Invoices

If your company sends invoices or other documents to customers that include a reference to iTunes S.à r.l., note that as of September 25, 2016 iTunes S.à r.l. will cease to exist under such name. Changing references from iTunes S.à r.l. to Apple Distribution International is a logical consequence.

If your company is currently required to send invoices to iTunes S.à r.l., between September 25, 2016 and February 4, 2017, all invoices previously with iTunes S.à r.l. should be sent to “Apple Distribution International, Luxembourg Branch” at the existing address:
